Bucks County Bridge Dedication in honor of

James E. Boorman

Come join us as we remember and honor Hulmeville Borough native Sgt. James E. Boorman at a ceremony to rename Praul Street as Sgt. James E. Boorman Avenue.

Boorman was 20 years old and a member of 2nd 47th Mechanized Infantry when he was killed in the Tay Ninh Province in South Vietnam on April 27, 1967.

About Boorman, Hulmeville Borough Council resident Tom Wheeler said, “Sgt. James E. Boorman sacrificed everything that he had in the Vietnam War; we’re proud that he now will be honored in perpetuity in his hometown.”

The ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 29th at 11:30am, on the corner of Bellevue Avenue and Beacher Street, in Hulmeville Borough.
